Shape the Future of Digital Commerce with Your Visionary Expertise

About Miravia Miravia is a cutting-edge e-commerce platform connecting buyers and sellers seamlessly. We pride ourselves on offering a diverse and dynamic shopping experience by bringing on board innovative brands across various categories. Located in Madrid, we are a passionate team working with partners from all over the world to build the e-commerce platforms of tomorrow. The Role The Miravia Risk team is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Risk Governance Manager to build and lead our risk governance framework. This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping the company's approach to regulatory compliance, internal policy, and platform integrity.

YOUR ROLE: We are looking for a strategic and technically savvy Senior Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Manager to lead our fight against counterfeits and IP infringement. You’ll be the guardian of brand trust on our platform, shaping policies, driving automation, and partnering with top brands and tech teams to ensure Miravia remains a safe destination for authentic products.

✅ What You’ll Do
Lead End-to-End IPR Strategy: Define and implement Miravia’s global approach to trademark, copyright, patent, and design protection — aligned with EU regulations like the Digital Services Act (DSA) and international best practices.
Build Smart Enforcement Systems: Design automated detection tools using image recognition, keyword filtering, price anomaly models, and seller risk scoring — reducing manual work while increasing accuracy.
Strengthen Brand Trust & Collaboration: Serve as the main liaison for luxury brands, rightsholders, and third-party brand protection agencies. Establish transparent takedown processes and co-develop enforcement frameworks.
Secure the Supply Chain: Oversee brand verification programs, vetting protocols (e.g., LoA, invoices, distribution agreements), and grey market monitoring to ensure only authorized sellers list protected goods.
Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Use analytics to track counterfeit trends, measure detection performance, and report key IPR health metrics to executive leadership.
Scale Through Technology & Process: Partner with Engineering and Data teams to build internal tools that streamline notice-and-takedown workflows, appeals management, and seller audits.

Who You Are
4+ years in IPR Management, Brand Protection, Trust & Safety, preferably in e-commerce, marketplaces, or luxury/fashion sectors
Deep understanding of EU trademark and copyright law, with familiarity with WIPO, EUIPO, and online enforcement mechanisms
Proven experience designing automated detection systems or working closely with Product/Engineering teams on anti-counterfeit tools
Strong operational mindset — built or managed vetting workflows, NTD procedures, or takedown operations at scale
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish proficiency is highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, IP, or related field
Experience with SQL is a plus — we value data-driven thinkers who can analyze patterns and drive action
Skilled at balancing zero tolerance for fakes with the need for healthy seller growth
