Walmart Connect is a leading ad tech platform, committed to delivering innovative solutions and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and integrity. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager who will support Walmart as it embarks on its journey as one of the fastest growing and cutting-edge retail media and ad tech businesses in the US. As Walmart Connect (Walmart’s retail media business and ad tech business) grows, innovates, and scales, we are looking for a Senior Manager who can help the Compliance team cater to needs of this high growth business, as it relates to policy, such as the Advertising Policy. 
Reporting into the Walmart Connect Director of Compliance and Ethics (US), the Senior Manager, Compliance will play a pivotal role in policy governance, management and development, ensuring we meet regulatory requirements and maintain the trust of our partners and clients.  

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  •  Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. 
  • Manage the governance of Walmart Connect Ad Policy and its change management procedures. 
  • Manage the creation and enforcement of ad policies to ensure that all advertising content meets legal, ethical, and company standards. 
  • Manage cross functional stakeholder reviews and SME input, into policy reviews, revisions and updates. 
  • Support development of policy training and communications for different audiences (both tailored and companywide).  
  • Conduct regular audits assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks around policy gaps and policy risks to business and customer experience. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the business Ad policy team, who you will collaborate closely with. 
  • Ensure effective and timely policy updates and reporting to Director of Compliance, highlighting key issues and remediation plans. 
  • Develop recommendations for product enhancements around policy controls, policy management and enforcement. 
  • Provide training and education to employees on compliance-related topics, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical behavior. 
  •  Collaborate closely with Walmart Connect Legal as they provide guidance on changes and current relevant laws and regulations, by interpreting and updating company policies and procedures accordingly. 
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation for Walmart Connect where relevant to Compliance organization. 
  • Create and develop AI solutions for policy management and governance. 
  • Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset; create an environment that supports learning, innovation, compliance and ethics, and exhibit resilience in the face of setbacks.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, product, engineering, sales, operations, business operations, strategy, and marketing to ensure alignment of ad policies with product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve objectives and communicate to a variety of audiences with influence and inspiration to garner commitment and action.

Preferred Qualifications 

Education and work experience
  •  Advanced degree preferred - such as Juris Doctorate or Master’s degree in Public Policy or Business and minimum 3 years’ experience in compliance and ethics, legal, policy management, program management or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, policy management, advertising, legal, program management or related area with at least 1 year of supervisory experience or in a leadership role.
  • Experience within the advertising tech, retail media network, retailer, or related industry. 
  • Deep understanding of advertising, FTC regulations, AI, advertising industry standards and data privacy laws preferred. 
  • Proven track record of managing and/or implementing successful compliance programs. 
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience in corporate communications preferred. 
  • Project Management experience or certification preferred. 
  • Expertise in AI preferred. 
  • Experience supporting global markets.

  • Proven experience in managing cross functional stakeholders and building strong relationships within an organization.  
  • High degree of professional confidence and credibility with effective presence, strong written and verbal skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executive levels in the company.  
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent execution, communication, and interpersonal skills  
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30010: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
