This is a global role on our Privacy and AI Governance team which covers all of Logitech’s functional teams and business groups such as Hardware, Software, Logitech for Business, Design, IT, Legal and People & Culture.

Hybrid role

2 days (min) per week on site in Cork

Role

  • Identification, Treatment and Monitoring of Privacy Risks 
  • Lead and support the execution of key privacy processes such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) 
  • Ensure Logitech’s Records of Processing are up-to-date and compliant with applicable laws.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Logitech’s functional teams and business groups for Privacy queries and maintain up-to-date knowledge of FG and BG processing of personal data.
  • Coordinate with our program manager to successfully deliver key privacy projects
  • Collaborate on Privacy Policy updates, Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs) and any additional complex queries. 
  • Assist with complex data subject rights requests as required.
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to provide education, resources and training on privacy and data protection
  • Provide expert and pragmatic advice on the implementation and impact of global privacy and data protection laws to product and business teams and to colleagues on the legal team
  • Partner with technical and non-technical colleagues to identify privacy and data protection requirements and best practices, and translate them into clear, actionable steps.
  • Collaborate with legal and business teams spread across time zones – in multiple locations in Asia, California and Europe.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Law, Business, Management, Information Systems etc.).

  • CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT or equivalent is preferred.

  • 4+ years of post-qualification experience, with significant relevant privacy/data protection law experience, ideally in a multinational technology company.

  • Deep understanding of global privacy standards, frameworks and regimes including: CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, GDPR, LGPD, PIPL and the AADC.

  • Experienced in the development of products and services, with emphasis on strong technical knowledge of how technology is used to deliver evidence of compliance.

  • Experience using privacy management software.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
