Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

Mozilla is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of user-facing privacy experiences in the Firefox browser. This role is responsible for shaping how millions of people experience privacy and protection directly within Firefox while also seamlessly integrating complementary tools like Firefox Relay and Mozilla Monitor. You will define how these products work together to make privacy effortless, intuitive, and genuinely valuable for users of all technical backgrounds. We are looking for someone who can simplify complex technical concepts, champion intuitive UX, and craft cohesive privacy experiences that empower and delight.

This role will focus on building exceptional customer experiences, integrating privacy tools like Mozilla Monitor and Firefox Relay into Firefox, and driving growth through strategy, data-driven insight, and a deep understanding of user needs. You will be a key contributor to Mozilla’s privacy strategy, translating vision into measurable goals and collaborating across teams to deliver user and business impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and drive the multi-year product strategy for Firefox Relay, Mozilla Monitor, and Firefox privacy experiences, setting clear goals and aligning cross-functional teams on a shared vision of privacy made simple.
  • Own product outcomes end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to delivery, iteration, and measurement of success.
  • Bridge the gap between privacy and convenience, ensuring user trust while reducing friction in understanding and protecting personal information online.
Transform complex technical concepts into intuitive, approachable experiences that make privacy and security feel empowering rather than intimidating.
  • Integrate our privacy tools into the Firefox ecosystem to create seamless, intuitive experiences across products that expand user engagement and retention.
Use data and user research to guide priorities, inform decisions, and refine product direction.
  • Collaborate across disciplines including Engineering, UX, Data Science, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Experience to prioritize work, resolve ambiguity, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Advocate for users by leveraging research, behavioral insights, and empathy to shape experiences that simplify complexity and spark user delight.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience leading impactful consumer-facing products, ideally in privacy, security, identity, finance, or similarly technical domains.
  • Strong ability to make the complex simple, translating deep and technical topics into clear, human-centered experiences that users easily understand and trust.
  • Strong UX sensibilities and a passion for intuitive, elegant, and accessible experiences that excite users and reduce friction.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and communicate strategy, aligning near-term decisions with long-term goals and Mozilla’s mission.
  • Expertise in using data and user research to guide priorities, measure results, and improve outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with Engineering, UX, Data Science, and Marketing partners.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, capable of connecting business, user, and technical considerations into a cohesive product vision.
  • Proven leadership and influence, guiding complex discussions, resolving ambiguity, and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep empathy for users and a passion for protecting people online, combined with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics into elegant, approachable solutions.
  • Goal and metrics oriented, skilled at setting measurable objectives and driving accountability toward impact.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with consumer privacy, data protection regulations, digital identity management, or web browser ecosystems.

What you’ll get:

  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team
  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)
  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together
  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday
  • One-time home office stipend
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Quarterly well-being stipend
  • Considerable paid parental leave
  • Employee referral bonus program
  • Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)
