Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, evaluate, and manage user-generated content across digital platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines, legal regulations, and brand standards.
  • Monitor user behavior and enforce policies effectively, applying guidelines consistently to diverse content scenarios.
  • Identify and remove offensive or inappropriate material.
  • Handle sensitive issues independently while upholding platform standards.
  • Escalate complex cases to senior staff and provide feedback to improve moderation policies.
  • Translate or localize content.
  • Monitor trends in user behavior and collaborate with other teams to address emerging risks.
  • Assist customers via chat, email, or phone (depending on the project).
  • Maintain detailed records of moderation decisions and escalations.
Requirements:
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish (C1) and very good English knowledge (B2).
  • Experience: Previous experience in content moderation, social media management, or customer support preferred. Junior roles typically require 0-2 years of experience, mid-level 2-5 years, and senior roles 5+ years. Experience working with moderation service industry is also beneficial.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of online communities, social media platforms, and digital content trends.
    • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound judgments under pressure.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
    • Ability to handle sensitive topics with professionalism and clarity.
    • Ability to remain objective and resilient when dealing with challenging or sensitive content.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including enterprise content management platforms, ticketing systems, and workflow automation tools. Familiarity with AI-powered moderation solutions (NLP, image recognition software) is increasingly important. Comfort with collaboration platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams), CRM systems, and analytics dashboards.
    • Ability to use Windows Operating Systems, internet applications, and MS Office.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent diploma is a minimum qualification.
  • Other: Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
