Amazon’s Account Integrity team (AIT) within the Selling Partner Support organization is looking for a senior leader for the Risk Mining team based out of India. The AIT team owns designing and building high performance software systems using machine learning that identify and prevent fraudulent activity and maintain high trust levels with our customers. Stopping bad actors improves our ability to stop downstream fraud and abuse. The role of the Risk Mining team is to detect and quickly mitigate unique patters of bad actor activity.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for coordination of goals, AI based roadmaps and key project deliverables across wide stakeholders such as Engineering, Machine Learning,Product, Partner teams and business teams. The incumbent is expected to scale up in learning business use cases of AI foundational models approved for Amazon and leverage them for scaling AIT RM initiatives

Key job responsibilities
1 Lead all cross functional projects with partner risk mining teams in Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP). Through 2025, develop a roadmap on key collaboration areas, development of data requirements that are needed for improving risk mining MO identification
2 Lead AI based tool and feature development within AIT Risk Mining. Work with IN and SJO risk mining teams to :
i. Identify potential areas in Risk Mining to use AI
ii. Work within RM or with AIT engineering teams to prioritize AI based initiatives
iii. Develop RM MO Repo that can help scale MO identification across AIT RM as stage1 and then with partner teams
iv. Target XX ROI of output via AI (XX to be defined post internal calibration)
3 Lead OP1 process planning and working with engg and Machine learning teams to prioritize requirements from AIT RM. Should be able to build intake processes within Risk Mining teams that enable production of ideas that enable long term scalability of the function to develop more complex roadmaps
4 Single point of contact for prioritization and tracking of external requests from partners teams on MO investigations and deep dives. Expected to work internally with RM analysts and Risk Specialist to track and coordinate with external stakeholders outside AIT for closure of systemic gaps. These gaps can be within AIT and the Sr. Program Manager is expected to build a charter in closing those gaps.
i. Expected to develop metrics across AIT and on WBRs that indicate performance on quality and speed on these partnerships
5 Owning the program for developing feedback loops from AIT risk Mining MOs with ML, Engineering and product teams. Success metric would be number of new upstream gaps identified and quantified for impact, number of long term initiatives that the PM has been able to develop and close with partner teams.
6 Develop, track and improve MO Risk Mining metrics for quality of output and speed. Work with IN and CR teams to solve systemic gaps
7 Lead the entire structure of deploying Risk Mining SOPs. Provide central structure to SOP development and rollout. Ensure parity or superiority of SOPs across BRP. Deploy learnings across orgs
8 Drive efficiency in rule management. Deprecate non-impacting rules or modify them to ensure, AIT RM is not working on older rules. Create path to deprecation, offline monitoring and same should apply to ML teams
9 Single point of contact for all escalation action items for Risk Mining that is a derivative of Sev 2 tickets, executive escalations and COE action items.


A day in the life
A typical week for the candidate will be across 2 broad areas.
Tactical
1. Follow up within Risk Mining tickets on ageing tickets, root cause analysis and closure of action items
2. Develop weekly flash reports across different initiatives
3. Report out metrics and path to green on key goals
4. Involve themselves in weekly meetings catering to projects, initiatives

Strategic
1. Develop a roadmap for AI based workstreams. Creating a document for review
2. Conduct workshops that enable ideation for OP1 initiatives
3. Non-AI based documents that pertain to quarterly reviews, metric reviews and roadmap reviews
4. Workshops with non-RM partners such as Engg, ML and other wider BRP teams

About the team
The Risk Mining team for account integrity is based out of India and Costa Rica who work tirelessly to mitigate bad actor behavior on Amazon. The team uses a mix of analytics, code writing and manual investigations to do their job. A key area for the team is to drive seamless coordination across different risk teams in Amazon and AIT product, engineering and ML partners. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Managing and implementing AI based projects. Versed with use of basic forms of foundation models in AI

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
