We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead and own the establishment of a comprehensive program that measures and improves the performance of Ad Policies through data-driven insights. This role will be instrumental in building frameworks, metrics, and processes that ensure our advertising policies are effective, fair, and continuously optimized based on quantitative analysis. The role requires self-direction, tenacity, and innovation. The role will present regularly to senior leadership, providing opportunities to gain their unique insight, and advocate for cross-organization investments for optimal experiences. This is a fast paced, high-energy role that will provide an opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of advertisers and customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and establish comprehensive measurement frameworks for Ad Policy performance with key metrics and success criteria. - Work with Data Teams to build robust data pipelines and analytical frameworks to measure policy enforcement outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to instrument, track, and analyze policy effectiveness across accuracy, consistency, and business impact.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify patterns and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Own end-to-end program management from conception through implementation, including experiments and A/B tests.
- Partner with Policy, Product, Engineering, Science, and Operations teams to implement data-informed improvements.
- Invent ways to embed AI Agents and Insights to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Establish governance processes for policy performance reviews and drive continuous improvement culture.

As a member of the Advertising Trust's Policy team, you'll work across Amazon's business lines to shape customer experience and long-term strategy for Amazon Advertising. Our team combines extensive online advertising experience with expertise in customer experience solutions, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. About the team
The Ad Policy team owns global ad policies across all Ad products and Amazon Publishers. This dynamic team is an integral part of how we support Amazon Advertising and as such has touch points across multiple areas of our business. We make a customer impact with every ad we serve and pride ourselves on doing so with a customer centric focus.
Basic Qualifications: - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- 5+ years of program or project Management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- 7+ years of professional experience in risk management, policy operations, data analytics, or related fields
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and performance measurement frameworks
- Proven track record of translating data insights into business impact
- Experience with policy, compliance, or trust and safety domains Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Experience in advertising, content moderation, or platform policy enforcement
- Experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B testing, multivariate testing)
- Knowledge of advertising industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Track record of influencing senior leadership through data-driven storytelling

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
