What you'll do...Role summary:
Walmart Marketplace is the fastest-growing part of Walmart’s eCommerce business, bringing customers greater assortment while creating new opportunities for sellers and brands to grow at scale. As Marketplace grows, the trust brands place in Walmart becomes increasingly important. Brands need confidence that they can invest in and grow their presence on Walmart while their intellectual property, products, and brand equity are protected from bad actors and infringement. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager – Brand Protection to define and lead the product strategy for how Walmart protects brands across Marketplace.
About the team:
The Brand Protection team helps create a fair and trusted Walmart Marketplace where brands and sellers can confidently grow and customers can confidently shop. Our products help protect brands against intellectual property infringement and other forms of brand abuse while ensuring legitimate sellers can participate fairly in the Marketplace. We build capabilities serving multiple users: brands protecting their intellectual property, sellers building businesses on Walmart, Walmart associates investigating complex cases, and customers who expect authentic and trustworthy products.
What you'll do:
Building with deep customer, seller, and brand empathy -Understand the needs of customers, sellers, brands, and Walmart associates and design experiences that protect brands and customer trust while enabling legitimate sellers to grow with minimal friction. Transforming Brand Protection through self-service and automation –Reimagine historically manual experiences by giving brands better tools to protect themselves and enabling associates to investigate and resolve issues faster, more consistently, and at scale. Turning protection into a growth advantage –Look beyond enforcement to identify how Brand Protection capabilities can strengthen Walmart's value proposition to brands, helping them confidently invest, build, and grow their businesses on Marketplace.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

What you'll bring:
- Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of defining strategy and delivering complex, high-impact products at scale.
- Marketplace & Trust Acumen: Strong understanding of marketplace ecosystems. Experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, brand protection, intellectual property, trust & safety, risk, or adjacent domains is valuable.
- AI & Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of AI/ML and automation, with experience using technology to improve decision-making, automate complex workflows, and build scalable products.
- Product & Systems Thinking: Proven ability to take complex, ambiguous problems across multiple users and workflows and translate them into clear product strategies, scalable solutions, and intuitive experiences.
