The Team Leader – Trust & Safety will be responsible for leading a team of moderators/analysts to ensure platform safety, policy compliance, and high‑quality content moderation. The role involves people management, operational excellence, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination while maintaining high standards of user safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team handling Trust & Safety operations such as content moderation, abuse prevention, fraud detection, or policy enforcement.
Ensure adherence to platform policies, community guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor daily performance, productivity, SLAs, and KPIs; take corrective actions where required.
Conduct regular quality audits and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
Handle escalations, sensitive cases, and high‑risk content with professionalism and discretion.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
Coordinate with Quality, Training, Operations, and Policy teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
Support onboarding and training of new team members.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Risk Operations, or related process.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Team Lead or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of community guidelines, online safety standards, and moderation workflows.
Excellent communication, people management, and decision‑making skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and disturbing content with emotional resilience.
Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and reporting.
Working knowledge of tools such as CRM, ticketing systems, moderation platforms, or dashboards.
