We're looking for a sharp, fast policy researcher to support a short-term project focused on emerging online compliance risks. You'll help map out regulatory exposure across major platforms and synthesize global policy trends into clear, actionable insights.
What you’ll do
Research digital safety and compliance laws (UK, EU, U.S., others)
Identify and summarize platform obligations under current or proposed legislation
Support development of a comparative risk framework across consumer-facing internet platforms
Help draft a briefing note targeting investors, operators, and media
Collaborate with a small, experienced team shipping fast and aiming for impact
What we’re looking for
3–10+ years in tech policy, legal research, or trust & safety
Strong synthesis skills; able to turn laws into clear takeaways quickly
Ability to work independently and meet tight timelines
(Bonus) Familiarity with platform regulation, privacy, or safety (e.g. DSA, OSA, COPPA, KOSA)
