Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with program or portfolio management, communication management, and stakeholder management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data center networking/infrastructure, planning, execution in new product introduction, process improvement.
  • Experience with change management, and managing projects and initiatives.
  • Experience with co-location and data center operations.
  • Experience within organizational settings (e.g., PMO, geographic dispersion, etc.).
  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics concepts.
  • Excellent investigative, quantitative and presentation skills.

A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of current-state and future-state process maps (value stream maps, swimlanes) to identify bottlenecks in the technical delivery workflow.
  • Define and maintain the operating procedures, playbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required to ensure consistent, defect-free execution across the network delivery chain.
  • Define, track, and iterate on performance metrics, including lead time, throughput, SLA adherence, and rework rates.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect pain points from cross-functional teams and lead the communication strategy to drive the adoption of new process changes.
  • Manage relationships with cross functional stakeholders to move work forward, creating forward-looking solutions and aligning on outcomes that address local priorities and challenges.
