About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to serve as the Head of Listing Governance for TikTok Shop in the United States. This role will be responsible for defining the governance vision and leading the execution of the product listing policy and enforcement framework to ensure a safe, trustworthy, and high-quality shopping experience.

We are looking for a candidate, who will bring deep expertise in e-commerce governance, product compliance, and marketplace integrity, combined with strong cross-functional leadership. This leader will oversee the lifecycle of listing governance policies, develop scalable governance frameworks, and proactively manage emerging risks related to product listings, merchant behavior, and marketplace quality.

This role will also play a key part in advancing data-driven and AI-enabled governance capabilities, partnering with product, operations, legal, and global governance teams to build scalable systems that support the long-term growth of TikTok Shop.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and Lead Listing Governance Strategy: Define the vision and strategic roadmap for TikTok Shop Listing Governance in the United States. Oversee the full lifecycle of listing governance policies.
- Proactively identify and assess emerging risks related to product listings, including product safety, misrepresentation, regulatory compliance, and marketplace manipulation.
- Leverage data insights, market intelligence, and user behavior signals to develop proactive governance strategies.
-Build and Lead a High-Performing Governance Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of US Listing Governance policy professionals.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on deep domain expertise, critical thinking, operational impact, and continuous professional development.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary TikTok Shop listing governance expert in the US, partnering closely with Legal, Product, Trust & Safety, Engineering, Operations, and Data Science teams to ensure policies are technically feasible, operationally scalable, clearly communicated, and consistently enforced.
- Advance AI-Driven Governance Capabilities: Lead the transformation of listing governance practices by adopting advanced technologies, including large language models (LLMs), to enhance risk detection, policy enforcement accuracy, and governance efficiency.
- Champion Globalization Strategy & Marketplace Consistency: Align US listing governance with global governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with US regulatory and market requirements.
- Develop scalable governance models that support both local relevance and global consistency across TikTok Shop markets.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification (s):
- 10+ years of experience, with significant experience in e-commerce governance, marketplace operations, product compliance, trust & safety, or ecosystem health.
- 4+ years of proven experience leading and managing high-performing teams in governance, policy, or marketplace risk functions.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing, and enforcing end-to-end governance policies and risk mitigation strategies for e-commerce marketplaces
- Strong understanding of product compliance, consumer protection, and listing quality management in digital marketplaces
- Highly proactive, results-oriented, and action-driven, with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced.
- Demonstrated past success working in a matrix environment and ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in building, developing, and motivating teams toward high performance

Job Information
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $180310 - $364800 annually.​
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).​
