As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and optimization of creator and MCN onboarding governance frameworks and operational processes.
  • Conduct end-to-end dogfooding of creator onboarding journeys to identify potential friction points, policy gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and perform root cause analyses (RCAs) on operational and ecosystem issues to improve efficiency and platform health.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant teams to identify and mitigate abusive behaviour across the TikTok Shop ecosystem, which could manifest through creators and their content.
  • Analyze creator metrics, generating insights to support governance decision making and process improvement.
  • Review effectiveness and coverage of creator educational tools to enhance creator experience.
  • Support the drafting of governance strategies and external education materials.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master's degree.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Comfortable working with data to identify trends, investigate issues, and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and/or SQL is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on investigative tasks.

Preferred Qualification(s):

  • Prior internship, academic, or project experience in e-commerce, technology, operations, trust & safety, governance, risk, or policy-related domains.
  • Familiarity with creator platforms, e-commerce, or prior exposure as an online seller or content creator.
  • Interest in platform governance, risk management, or operational policy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
