We Could Use Someone Like You in Our Crew.

ModSquad is growing!

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, level-headed Trust & Safety Specialist who thrives on keeping online communities safe. If you’re passionate about protecting users, analyzing complex abuse issues, and using equal parts logic and empathy to make tough calls, this role is for you.

As a Trust & Safety Specialist for Adobe based in Adobe’s San Francisco office (2–3 days per week), you’ll be on the front lines of digital safety — managing the day-to-day operations of Adobe’s child safety program, content moderation, and abuse reporting processes. This fast-paced position calls for someone with a deep passion for resolving complex online safety and abuse issues while maintaining calm and professionalism under pressure.

In this role, you’ll review sensitive content, respond to abuse reports, and identify trends before they escalate. You’ll collaborate closely with Adobe’s policy experts, tech teams, and ModSquad client partners to ensure the delivery of safe, supportive online spaces for all.

This isn’t just about clicking through reports — it’s about being a guardian of digital communities and using sound judgment, empathy, and integrity to make an impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Review, analyze, and take action on reports of abusive or harmful content in accordance with client policies and legal guidelines.
  • Escalate urgent issues to Trust & Safety leadership, Legal, or client teams when needed.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and emerging risks to recommend improvements in processes or tools.
  • Contribute to the development of workflows, documentation, and training to help the whole team shine.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional partners and a diverse online community.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and empathy while working with sensitive and potentially disturbing material.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full-time (40 hrs/week) based in San Francisco with 2–3 days in the office per week required.
  • Willingness to work weekend shifts.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on content moderation or trust & safety experience, including at least 1–2 years specifically handling CSAM-related cases.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume, detail-oriented work with accuracy.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to know when to escalate difficult cases.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical mindset, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with sensitive content, including potentially disturbing material (training and wellness resources provided).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, positive attitude.
  • Bonus points for experience in the tech or legal industry, familiarity with common SaaS platforms and online communities, and/or knowledge of Adobe products and services.

Salary Range: $80.000 - $104.000
