We are looking for a Trust & Safety Operations Specialist. As a member of the Customer Experience team, you’ll join the Trust & Safety team to execute and scale our safety operations across the marketplace. You will play a key role in evolving our Trust & Safety operations including enforcement, marketplace integrity and escalations, while identifying emerging risks and improving operational processes. You will work closely with Trust & Safety Policy, Customer Care, Legal, Product and Analytics to ensure our safety systems and processes are effective and scalable.

Please note that this role involves working with sensitive and potentially distressing content, including material related to child safety, as part of our trust and safety operations. Preply is committed to supporting the wellbeing of all team members in this area

What you’ll be doing:

  • Trust & Safety operations

    • Support Trust & Safety operations including moderation, user reports, enforcement, escalations, and appeals

    • Ensure consistent, high quality decision making and policy enforcement across content, behaviour and account integrity

    • Oversee handling of complex cases including sensitive or high risk content

  • Drive operational excellence at scale

    • Optimise and scale moderation and enforcement workflows to prevent misuse and maintain trust across the platform

    • Identify gaps in Trust and Safety operations and contribute to designing and refining SOPs and playbooks

    • Leverage data and operational insights to identify trends, strengthen prevention strategies and improve proactive detection systems

  • Cross functional collaboration

    • Work closely with Trust & Safety Policy, Customer Care, Legal, Product and Analytics to align on improvements

    • Translate frontline insights into product, policy and tooling enhancements

What you need to succeed:

  • 5 years experience in Trust and Safety, content moderation, crisis response or operational roles in marketplaces

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow policies and guidelines consistently

  • Ability to engage with sensitive content and safety escalations while maintaining resilience

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and trends

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
