Analyst

We are seeking a Trust & Safety Specialist to support the review, investigation, and resolution of high-risk safety incidents on our platform. This role will primarily focus on self-harm, suicide, and sadistic harm-related escalations while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to protect users and uphold platform integrity. The ideal candidate is experienced in trust and safety operations, comfortable working with sensitive content, and capable of making sound decisions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Triage, investigate, and respond to escalated safety incidents received from internal teams, external partners, law enforcement agencies, and parents.
  • Handle urgent and time-sensitive cases related to self-harm, suicide, child safety, and other high-risk trust and safety concerns.
  • Conduct complex content moderation and investigations using internal tools and established workflows.
  • Assess threats, identify policy violations, and recommend appropriate enforcement actions.
  • Prepare and submit proactive disclosures to law enforcement in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case documentation, investigation records, and escalation logs.
  • Partner closely with Product, Policy, Legal, and Safety teams to support incident response and improve operational processes.
  • Participate in team meetings, daily stand-ups, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Adhere to strict operational security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, online safety, investigations, intelligence analysis, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience handling child safety, exploitation, or other high-risk online harms cases.
  • Knowledge of content moderation practices, escalation workflows, and trust and safety operations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing sensitive, graphic, or emotionally challenging content while maintaining professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong documentation and case management experience.
  • Experience supporting crisis response, self-harm, suicide prevention, or law enforcement engagement programs.
  • Familiarity with online platform safety operations, digital investigations, or cyber-enabled threat environments.
  • Experience working with policy enforcement frameworks and operational standard operating procedures.
  • Understanding of privacy, safety, and legal considerations associated with child safety and emergency disclosures.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-120,000 per year (50,000-60,000 for the 6-month engagement). Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
