Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Validation Agent to join our team in Manila. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our users from offensive, dangerous, or otherwise extreme user-generated content, and safeguarding Viber from potentially damaging material. You will be responsible for providing quick, high-quality moderation, ensuring a safe and positive experience for our global community.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze user-generated content (text, images, videos) to identify violations of Viber's community guidelines and terms of service.
Flag problematic or damaging content using sound judgment and contextual understanding.
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while working with potentially offensive or extreme content.
Effectively manage your workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and accurate moderation practices.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of moderation processes and guidelines.
Stay up to date on current trends and emerging issues related to online safety and content moderation.
Requirements:
Language Skills: Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency, including familiarity with colloquialisms. Additional language skills would be a plus.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze context and exercise good judgment in identifying and flagging problematic content.
Stress Management: Demonstrated ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations, exhibiting resilience and composure.
