TELUS Digital is seeking bilingual Data Annotation Specialists (native Spanish-speaking LATAM with fluency in English) to assist in the development of AI technologies. Your role will involve generating accurate and contextually appropriate responses to various prompts, including sensitive content. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our language model's performance, ensuring its effectiveness across a wide range of applications.

Role Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Research, create, and edit short-form written content (e.g., short blog posts, emails, brief essays, story synopses, summaries, cover letters), adhering to factual accuracy and style guidelines for voice and creativity.
  • Sensitive Prompts Handling: Receive prompts that can contain sensitive topics and generate responses adhering to strict ethical and content guidelines.
  • Cultural Considerations: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of biases and cultural considerations associated with sensitive content.
  • Model Output Analysis: Analyze model outputs for potential biases, offensive language, or inappropriate responses.
  • Fact-Checking: Verify information to ensure the credibility and reliability of the content.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in natural language processing, machine learning, and AI.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training progress reviews and provide input for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Ability to work from site.
  • Language Skills:
    • Native Spanish speaker with strong oral and written comprehension.
    • B2 level English proficiency with strong oral and written comprehension.
  • Oriented towards professional writing, committed to adapting to various formats, writing styles, tones, and contexts.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) principles, including syntax, semantics, and discourse analysis.
  • Familiarity with content moderation tools and techniques is a plus.
