Responsibilities
Team Introduction
The Global Monetization Product Team ensures safe and quality experiences for Advertisers to enable TikTok in its mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. BI Incident Response team is responsible for investigating high risk and urgent escalations that reference TikTok ad products as well as mitigating any potential risks and preventing reoccurrence.

Risk Analyst's core responsibilities will include perform proactive analysis and public opinion monitoring to identify potential incidents before direct enquiries are made by regulators or media. Coordinate long term solutions to gaps identified during incident handling to prevent reoccurrence. Plan, initiate and manage special and critical events, including election monitoring.

Responsibilities
- Perform proactive analysis of market risks to identify vulnerabilities and potential incidents before direct enquires are made by external parties.
- Coordinate solutions to leakages uncovered during incident handling process and prevent reoccurrence.
- Monitor and analyse public opinion and sentiment trends related to ads and other monetisation risks
- Detect and deliver actionable media intelligence on emerging and current monetisation risk trends
- Identify potential issues with TikTok monetization that are covered in the media and ensure any confirmed issues are investigated and addressed.
- Build and maintain cross-functional working models and relationships to guarantee prompt and formal feedback during high-priority incidents and enable productive collaboration.
- Oversee key functions that support incident handling such as quality control, tooling, data and reporting.
- Initiate and own projects that are aimed at improving risk response and risk control systems and workflows.
- Provide ad-hoc insights, analysis and risk assessments when requested by leadership or key XFNs.
- Perform data analysis to uncover gaps in current risk response measures as well as to provide overview of qualitative and quantitative risk trends related to incidents, elections, critical events and other special events.
- Prepare, monitor and report on special and critical events, such as elections, conflicts, attacks and other significant events that may disrupt safe experience for TikTok users.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree; 2+ years of risk investigations and operations experience preferably in incident response, business analytics, risk management, audit, consulting, or trust & safety;
- It is required to have regional language expertise in SEA, NEA, or South Asia (fluent written and spoken in written Thai, Vietnamese, or Burmese) , with demonstrated ability to cover the corresponding market(s).
- Business-level proficiency in English, with the ability to support all APAC markets in incident handling
- 2+ years experience in conducting root cause analysis or similar assessments with proven record of actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and research skills including OSINT;
- Ability to work in a fast and evolving environment with a keen eye for detail;
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality while meeting strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred majors in Political Science, Journalism, International Relations, PPGA
