Responsibilities

As a Trust & Safety Business Program manager, you will play a critical role in the Microsoft team responsible for operationalizing Responsible AI technology and Digital Safety and enabling Microsoft’s customers to solve real business solutions across varios use cases.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Program Manager to lead initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and performance in AI deployment. This role will drive cross- functional collaboration, streamline operational processes, and support leadership in establishing standards for performance in an AI-driven organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to drive collaboration on various projects with operations and engineering partners to advance safety and operational standards for Responsible AI deployment. You will lead initiatives to automate review processes, improve forecasting capabilities through building tailored reporting and oversee work related to tooling and platform migrations.

As a Trust & Safety Guidelines Business Program Manager, you will:

Lead efforts to automate review and assessment processes for AI deployment.
Develop forecasting models to improve capacity planning and resource allocation for Responsible AI and Digital safety resources.
Design and maintain dashboards in ADO and PowerBI to drive clarity for leadership and to track state of the business, productivity and operational performance.
Use your PM expertise, process design, change management, training, and/or other process improvement skills to help us drive standardized efficiencies at scale.
Work closely with the subject matter experts to drive operational excellence through Continuous Improvement (CI) of policy, process and systems leveraging AI where appropriate.
Leverage the work of teammates and colleagues in operations, and engineering, while positioning your work so it can be leveraged by others.
Be able to communicate your work and the work of the team to our broad set of senior stakeholders.
Be a change agent, starting by modeling how to adopt change with agility and prepare others.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 2+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
OR equivalent experience
1+ Years of experience working with Sharepoint and/or Power BI
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for work tracking and process automation.
Experience in identifying issues, investigating, developing a solution, implementing change and monitoring results.
Experience influencing others where support is critical to success.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and performance reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
