About The Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven and risk-savvy Fraud Analyst to own and execute our KYB and KYC processes for Slice Pay
Sitting within the Slice Group Risk Team, this role is key to protecting our businesses from fraud—by ensuring every user and merchant is verified safely, accurately, and in line with regulatory expectations.

This is a hybrid role across compliance and operations, ideal for someone who thrives on pattern detection, process optimization, and getting the details right—every time.

What You’ll Do

Execute Slice end-to-end KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) procedures across both consumer and merchant channels.
Verify customer identity and merchant legitimacy using third-party tools and internal checks.
Review and escalate suspicious or high-risk accounts and transactions.
Refine and improve onboarding flows, balancing fraud controls with customer experience.
Collaborate with Product, Ops, and Legal teams to ensure process compliance and build KYB/KYC processes into our product
Maintain compliance with relevant AML/CTF frameworks (AU, UK, US, NZ jurisdictions).

Requirements

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

Have 2+ years experience in fraud operations, compliance, or trust & safety—ideally in fintech, payments, or travel.
Are familiar with ID and business verification tools (e.g. Jumio, Onfido, Equifax, CreditorWatch).
Have experience with KYC/KYB workflows and regulatory best practices.
Are a strong communicator and investigator—able to resolve ambiguous or edge cases independently.
Want to build and optimise scalable, global risk processes in a fast-paced startup.
