German-Speaking Social Media Content Moderator

Role Overview
We are looking for German-speaking Content Moderators to support the daily operations of a large international social media platform. In this role, you will review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with internal policies and community guidelines, helping maintain a safe and respectful online environment.

Responsibilities
Review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos)
Apply internal policies and guidelines accurately and consistently
Identify content that violates platform standards and take appropriate action
Escalate sensitive or complex cases according to established procedures
Document moderation decisions clearly in internal systems
Meet defined quality, accuracy, and productivity KPIs

Requirements
German B2–C1 (written and spoken)
English B2+ for internal communication
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive or potentially disturbing content
Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or customer support
Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends (and potentially nights)
