About The Role

Location: London, UK

Twitch is looking for a seasoned communications professional to lead international communications efforts across our global markets. In this role, you’ll develop and execute strategic communications campaigns that elevate Twitch’s reputation as the leader in livestreaming entertainment while supporting our fast-moving business across multiple regions.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and growing Twitch’s presence in priority markets beyond the U.S., helping regional audiences better understand what Twitch is, who it’s for, and why it matters. You’ll also serve as a key international counterpart in issues and crisis communications, working with comms leaders to help manage sensitive topics and mitigate reputational risk globally.

You will be responsible for working with leaders to adapt strategies to local regions, sharing compelling narratives that demonstrate our impact—from creator success stories and platform innovations to trust & safety, product launches, and advertising partnerships. You’ll work across geographies and time zones, partnering with agency teams and internal stakeholders across comms, marketing, community, and partnerships to deliver proactive storytelling and smart, responsive communications.

This role reports to the Global Head of Public Relations and is supported by a network of external agencies and internal cross-functional teams.

You Will:

Regionalize and execute high-impact international communications strategies that build Twitch’s reputation across creator, consumer, advertiser, and policymaker audiences
Tailor global brand and product narratives to resonate locally across key regions
Manage and brief global PR agencies to ensure effective execution across markets
Support international issues and crisis response efforts, working closely with comms leadership to ensure accuracy, empathy, and transparency
Proactively pitch stories to elevate Twitch’s role in livestreaming culture and creator economy across business, tech, and lifestyle media
Provide communications counsel and media coaching to Twitch leaders, especially for high-profile global speaking moments or emerging topics
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to amplify strategic product updates, community investments, or platform initiatives in relevant global markets
Monitor and assess reputational risks across regions and prepare clear, well-reasoned communications responses
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, speed, and editorial excellence within the global comms team

You Have:

6+ years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably at a tech or media company with a global presence
Experience building international campaigns and tailoring storytelling to local markets
Strong background in issues management and crisis communications, especially in product- or community-sensitive spaces
Existing relationships with international media across business, tech, and culture beats
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to quickly craft smart messaging and executive talking points
A track record of managing multiple agency partners across geographies and time zones
Strong judgement, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing complexity and ambiguity
Enthusiasm for Twitch’s creator culture, audience, and global mission
