About the Role
We are hiring a Law Enforcement and Government Response Lead to join our growing Legal team. This role is designed for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a bias for action. You will play a key role in providing operations and substantive support to the legal team by responding to requests from law enforcement and other government organizations while ensuring that our organization complies with applicable laws, regulations and lawful requests. You will have the opportunity to shape new policies and procedures, and work alongside the legal, compliance and the financial crimes teams

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $116,100.00 and up to $161,300.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to
Review, analyze, and respond to subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and other legal requests from law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
Ensure responses comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and member privacy protections.
Partner with legal, compliance, and security teams to escalate complex or sensitive requests.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all requests, ensuring auditability and compliance.
Provide clear communication and guidance to law enforcement contacts while protecting member trust.
Monitor trends in legal requests and contribute to process improvements, policies, and training.
Assist in preparing transparency reporting and government affairs updates as needed.
To thrive in this role, you have
3-4 years of full-time work experience in law enforcement response, compliance, legal operations, or related fields
Ability to work with team members at all levels while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism, collaboration and discretion
Exceptional judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive requests with professionalism and discretion.
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with law enforcement, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of the mission and purview of various law enforcement and regulatory agencies
