Senior Legal Counsel (IP, Platform & Regulatory)

As the company continues to scale globally, we are expanding our legal team and seeking an experienced lawyer to lead intellectual property, platform liability, and gaming-related legal matters.

This position will focus on intellectual property, platform operations, intermediary liability, and regulatory matters affecting online marketplaces. The role will work closely with Product, Trust & Safety, Operations, Marketing, and external counsel. The successful candidate will become the company’s internal subject matter expert on copyright, trademark, digital platform regulation, and related legal matters.

POSITION BREAKDOWN

Intellectual Property & Compliance

• Advise on intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademarks, and related legal issues;

• Support the development and maintenance of platform policies and compliance processes;

• Review legal notices and coordinate responses where appropriate;

• Work with external counsel on specialized legal matters.

Platform & Product

• Provide legal guidance on product features, platform operations, and new business initiatives;

• Assess legal and regulatory implications of new products, markets, and partnerships;

• Collaborate with Product, Trust & Safety, Operations, and Marketing teams to support business objectives.

Regulatory & Strategic Support

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to online platforms and digital marketplaces;

• Contribute to internal risk assessment and compliance initiatives;

• Support strategic projects and expansion into new markets.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

Must Have

• Higher education degree in Law (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent);

• 3+ years of legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm;

• Strong knowledge of copyright, trademark, and intellectual property law;

• Experience analyzing legal risks and providing practical business-oriented advice;

• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills in English;

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously;

• Strong commercial judgment and problem-solving skills.

Highly Preferred

• Specialization in Commercial Law and/or Intellectual Property (Trademark) Law;

• Experience with technology companies, online platforms, marketplaces, or digital services;

• Experience advising on platform compliance, user-generated content, or intermediary liability matters;

• Familiarity with regulations affecting online platforms, including the Digital Services Act (DSA) or similar frameworks;

• Experience managing cross-border legal matters and coordinating external counsel;

• Prior in-house legal experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in gaming, digital assets, fintech, or other internet-native industries;

• Exposure to public policy, regulatory affairs, or industry advocacy initiatives;

• Experience supporting rapidly growing international businesses.

GROSS SALARY

The salary range for this position is 3500€ - 6000€ gross per month, depending on your experience.
