At the LEGO Group we're creating a global Moderation Platform that ensures safety and trust for both kids' and adults' digital experiences. It's a solution that balances brand values, compliance, and scalability amid evolving global legislation. As a Senior Engineer based at our LEGO Campus in Billund, you’ll play a key role in delivering this foundation. Automation is central to this journey—from ML pipelines and LLMs to the quality and governance practices of modern AI systems—ensuring our solutions remain adaptable, effective, and trustworthy at scale. You'll help safeguard our digital ecosystem while enabling creativity and innovation for millions of users. 

Core responsibilities 

  • Design and deliver reliable, secure, and scalable services end-to-end. 

  • Collaborate across disciplines to turn goals into clear, shippable outcomes. 

  • Write clean, maintainable Python and build in our serverless AWS stack. 

  • Improve how we work: CI/CD, testing, observability, and team processes. 

  • Mentor, share knowledge, and foster a culture of learning. 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Experience engineering and running solutions in the cloud (AWS preferred). 

  • Knowledge of event-driven systems and modern software practices. 

  • Curiosity for machine learning and large language models. 

  • A collaborative mindset — you value clarity, teamwork, and psychological safety. 

Bonus points if you have 

  • AWS certification. 

  • Hands-on experience with ML/AI in production. 

  • Familiarity with global compliance standards such as the Digital Services Act.
