Job Title: Trust & Safety Specialist (Remote - US-based)

Shift Timing: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (US Time, with occasional weekend/holiday shifts)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Trust & Safety Specialist to handle sensitive, confidential information and to help ensure a safe environment for users by enforcing policies on Trust & Safety issues, including Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and related violations. This role requires a commitment to handling sensitive cases with care and a strong understanding of criminal justice, human rights, and psychological principles.

Our team focuses on protecting users from harmful and illegal content while upholding privacy, dignity, and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confidentiality & Sensitivity: Handle confidential and sensitive information, ensuring data protection, privacy, and security in all aspects of the role.
• Trust & Safety Enforcement: Review and assess content to identify and address Trust & Safety violations, including CSAM, harmful content, and illegal activities.
• Policy Implementation: Apply and enforce community guidelines, policies, and safety protocols to maintain a safe online environment.
• Case Management: Prioritize and manage multiple cases, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of flagged content and safety issues.
• Work in a Sensitive Environment: Maintain emotional resilience while handling potentially disturbing content related to CSAM, or other violations.
• Adapt to Shifts: Work overnight shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Trust & Safety, handling confidential information, or working in a related field.
• Background: A criminal justice background is required; candidates with experience in human rights, social studies, psychology, or similar fields will be considered.
• Sensitivity & Resilience: Ability to handle and process sensitive and potentially disturbing content in a professional and resilient manner.
• Private Workspace: Must have a private, quiet space to work without interruptions or distractions.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and be available during weekends and holidays when required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to identify violations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report and escalate issues effectively.
