Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
Experience in data analysis, problem solving and efficient execution.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in relevant field.
Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or in a scripting/programming language (e.g. Python).
Experience in building scaled operations, efficient workflow design and process documentation.
Knowledge of content moderation, policy enforcement, and data labeling for adversarial machine learning (ML) model development.
Ability to solve large unstructured business problems, working closely with cross-regional and cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. The SmartReview team is at the forefront of protecting Google's billions of Workspace users. We play a pivotal role in developing, monitoring and upgrading the processes and human-in-the-loop flows to generate high quality data sets used to build state-of-the-art Machine Learning models. We are on a mission to build a scalable, auditable, and reliable process to ensure the quality of our content moderation and labelling operations.

As a Policy Enforcement Manager, you will work with global teams to ensure our review processes keep up with the new trends in abuse across workspace and will own the processes to work with product, engineers and product teams to ensure latest trends in abuse are caught early and included in our policy and Vendor trainings. You will evaluate abuse trends and quality within vendor operations and develop creative solutions to address quality, workflows, and processes

A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

Research and stay up-to-date on key trends and suspicious patterns across policy areas on Workspace.
Lead the creation and definition of workflows to solve product requirements. Lead coordination across various Trust and Safety and product teams to set up state of the art labeling operations.
Oversee enforcement quality across policy areas, including calibrations with vendor teams. Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage/holidays.
Develop operational excellence plans, and ensure that the processes are scalable, reliable and measurable across all products on Workspace including Gmail, Drive and Generative AI features.
Innovate and develop methods to incorporate AI models to plan quality of the manual review operations as well as develop insights to the engineering teams.
